Welcome to Sleek (the “App”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and the developer of Sleek (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Sleek is an independent, “bring-your-own-key” (BYOK) client for OpenRouter. The App lets you connect your own OpenRouter API key and send requests to third-party AI models. Sleek does not operate its own AI models or servers — requests are sent directly from your device to OpenRouter using your key.
Sleek is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenRouter or any model provider (including but not limited to Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, Meta, or DeepSeek). All product and model names are the property of their respective owners.
This section is important. Please read it carefully.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the App. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms, OpenRouter’s terms, and the terms and usage policies of any model provider you access.
You are responsible for the content you submit to and generate with the App, and for how you use that content. You agree not to use the App to create or distribute content that is illegal, or to violate the rights of others.
The App provides access to third-party AI models. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or otherwise objectionable, and you control which models you use and what you ask them. You should not rely on AI output as a substitute for professional advice (including legal, medical, financial, or safety advice), and you are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any content generated by the models you access.
Sleek is designed to keep your data on your device. Your API key and your conversations are stored locally on your device, not on our servers (we do not operate servers that receive your content). When you send a message, it goes directly from your device to OpenRouter, whose handling of your data is governed by OpenRouter’s own privacy policy and terms. Please review them.
The App depends on OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to. We are not responsible for their availability, performance, output, pricing, pricing changes, policies, or any interruption or discontinuation of their services. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, or any API costs or charges incurred on your key, arising out of or relating to your use of the App, whether based in contract, tort, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the App, if any, or (b) ten U.S. dollars (USD $10).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted at this URL. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Dakota, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
