This Privacy Policy explains how DeGen OS (“the App,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you use it. DeGen OS is a single-player satirical life-and-finance simulation game. We have tried to collect as little as possible — please read on for the specifics.

The short version: We do not make you create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts. Your game progress is saved on your device, not on our servers. The App shows third-party ads through Google AdMob, which uses device identifiers to serve and measure those ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.

1. Information we do not collect

We do not require an account, login, or sign-up.
We do not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
We do not knowingly collect any real-world financial information. All money, betting, and trading in the App is fictional and uses virtual currency with no real value.

2. Information stored on your device

Your game saves, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device (using on-device storage such as localStorage). This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the App or clear its data.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which can include:

device advertising identifiers (such as the Identifier for Advertisers / advertising ID);
device and app information (device type, OS version, app version);
general (non-precise) location inferred from your IP address;
ad-interaction data (ads shown, taps) used for frequency capping and measurement.

4. App Tracking Transparency & your choices

iOS: the App will ask for permission before allowing tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
Limit ad tracking: you can reset or limit your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and › Apple Advertising; Android: Settings › Privacy › Ads).
Where required, the App will present a consent prompt for personalized ads.

5. Analytics

We do not operate our own analytics or tracking SDKs. Any measurement is limited to what Google AdMob performs to deliver ads, as described above.

6. Children

DeGen OS is intended for adults and is rated for users 17 and older. It contains simulated gambling and mature themes and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will help.

7. Data security & retention

Because game data lives on your device, its security depends on your device’s own protections. Data handled by Google for advertising is retained and secured according to Google’s policies. We retain no personal profiles about you.

8. International users

The App is available in multiple regions. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with data-protection laws, the legal basis for ad-related processing is your consent (which you may withdraw) or, where applicable, legitimate interests. The advertising consent prompt lets you exercise these choices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App evolves. The “Effective” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected here.
